My Approach
Therapy is not about having all the answers. It’s about having a safe place to begin asking the right questions.
Whether you’re seeking support because of anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, parenting stress, life transitions, trauma, or simply because life feels overwhelming, my goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood.
No two people are exactly alike, and no two therapy journeys should be either.
Together, we’ll work to understand your unique story, identify your strengths, and develop practical tools that help you move toward healing, resilience, and meaningful change.
Understanding Before Judgment
I believe every person has a story worth understanding.
Rather than asking, “What’s wrong with you?” I believe a more helpful question is, “What has shaped your story?”
Our experiences influence how we think, feel, relate to others, and respond to life’s challenges. Sometimes those patterns help us. Other times they leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or discouraged. My role is to help you understand those patterns with compassion rather than judgment, because understanding often becomes the foundation for lasting change.
Therapy Tailored to You
Every client brings a unique story, set of strengths, and goals. Because of that, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.
My work is informed by evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), attachment theory, family systems, trauma-informed care, and neuroscience. These approaches provide helpful frameworks, but therapy is never about applying a technique. It’s about understanding you as a whole person and choosing the tools that best fit your needs.
Sometimes our work may focus on learning practical coping skills. Other times we may explore relationship patterns, process grief, strengthen communication, or better understand the impact of past experiences. Together, we’ll create an approach that fits where you are and where you hope to go.
What You Can Expect
I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important parts of the healing process.
You can expect therapy to be collaborative, compassionate, and practical. My hope is that you’ll feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to grow, and encouraged enough to believe that meaningful change is possible.
I want you to leave each session feeling more understood than when you arrived—with greater insight, practical tools, and hope for the road ahead.
It is a privilege to walk alongside children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges. Whatever season you’re in, you don’t have to walk through it alone.
